Oh Ashley. She's a real pistol, and a bit annoying in my opinion. Ashley is your typical college student that happens to be the daughter of the US president. Completely normal. She ends up being kidnapped and it's up to Leon to rescue her. Their relationship one is indeed a friendly one. Leon really does care about her safety and not just because it's his job, but because it's someone's life he has to take care of. Ashley is really dependent on Leon and constantly wants to stay close to him since Leon is pretty much the only person she can trust.
Ashley never loses faith in Leon, even when she gets kidnap multiple times and when all things seem to come to an end, she always keeps an optimistic view that Leon will pull through and be her knight in shiny armor. Lucky for her, Leon is a man of his word and ends up completely saving her for good once and for all.
At the end of the game it is so obvious that Ashley developed a major crush on Leon. She makes a offer with Leon that most man would take. Leave it to Leon for being a gentleman.
"Not quite. I still have to get you home safe."
"So, after you take me back to my place, how about we do some...overtime?"
"Heh. Sorry."
"Somehow I knew you were going to say that, but it doesn't hurt to ask, you know."
Oh dear Ashley. What are we going to do with you?
