Well, I really don't give a damn

As you can see below, I am talking about Leon's RPD uniform in RE2. Let me start out by saying this bluntly: This outfit looks comical. I have no idea where to start on his uniform because I can't take it serious. When I look at it, I can't help but to think of one of those halloween costumes that you get in the plastic bag from the store. All he needs is the hat. Or like, a Leon cosplayer making this outfit in like a day. Before people start jumping down my throat, I know graphics back than couldn't be super detail like the graphics nowadays. But seriously, did they have to make it bright blue like that? Did they have to give the poor guy cuffed sweat pants with no zipper? I can seriously go on, and I shall! So sit back and let the madness begin.

Whatever. Y'know you want a built in bullet proof vest.Starting from the top we are greeted by a lovely bright blue jacket that appears to have an built in (?) bullet proof vest with R.P.D. in big white arial font across the chest. I'm not quite sure if it's just for looks or it has a functional purpose, but let's call it a built in bullet proof vest. Continuing on, Leon also has studded shielding pads on his shoulders and his upper arms. From a glimpse, we can notice the RPD emblem on the upper left arm. We can also see that Leon is sporting a plain long sleeve white sweat shirt underneath his jacket uniform. The man is also wearing elbow pads. Yes, elbow pads. Do normal cops really wear elbow pads? I honestly don't know but they sure look like something you put on your little kid when they are bike riding for the first time.

I'm a video game character, I have to have random belts on me.Proceeding down, Leon is wearing a silver buckle belt around his waist. Does Leon really need a belt? The poor guy doesn't even have pant loops to put his belt through. Which makes me question, is this really a body suit? I mean, it would explain the exact matching colors of pants and jacket and the missing pant loops. For Leon's sake it better not be because that would be the geekiest thing ever. But truly I don't think Capcom would do that to him (I hope). On Leon's left leg, it appears to be another matching buckle belt. I was assuming that the belt was for his gun, but there is no holster. So it's up in the air what the leg belt is for. Maybe Leon just thought it looked cool. On Leon's hands we have black tight black fingerless gloves. Finishing this paragraph off, big, loose pockets accent both side of the pants. Maybe the pockets is where Leon keeps his gun. Or maybe he's just happy to see me.

Cuffed pants is so 90sOur journey is finally coming to a end. All we have left on the outfit is the beautiful cuffed pants that scream early 90s. No cop should ever wear cuffed pants. It makes it look like they are sweat pants or something. The bottoms of the pants literally looks like the ribbed elastic part of 90s sweats. Something my father would wear on a Sunday morning. Lastly we have some shoes that does not look comfortable to run in. In my opinion, they look a little too dressy to get down and dirty in. Throw on some sneakers Leon. Some 90s Keds to match your 90s sweats, perhaps?
