Sounds like you thought this one out pretty well
Thanks to better graphics, better technology, more time spent on a game, Leon redeems himself greatly in this get-up compared to the one he wore in RE2. This outfit is a big improvement and I really like it. I apperciate the fact that they gave Leon a really normal male attire instead of making him stereotypical agent-like. And even though it's quite normal, it's still appealing to look at and I think he makes the outfit work. If your gunna fight zombies and infected people 24/7, might as well do it in some style.
Starting this clothing mission, Leon presents to you a brown soft leather jacket with a beige wool collar and a collar buckle. I do have to agree with everyone, it does have a Squall-esque feel to it, but the style is definitely more manly and more suitable for his age. Underneath his jacket, Leon is wearing an actual 5.11 shirt in a neutral blue-grey. Official 5.11 brand shirts are common workout shirts that many military or people in heavy training wear. The shirts are specially designed for heavy and vigorous workout. They're made with material that help the body ventilate better than a normal shirt.
As we come lower, the hem of Leon's jacket and sleeves are accented by more wool. He is still sporting the fingerless black gloves and the leg buckles like he did in RE2. At least this time the leg buckles has a holster serving a purpose. Leon's pants are typical light weight neutral blue, male tactical pants that can be found in most training and military stores. Or even maybe found in your local Sears. The pants have side pockets so he can place all his miscellaneous items in them. Such as some bullets, a first-aid can perhaps?
Tying this attire analysis together, we are met with the hem of Leon's pants and his shoes. The hem of the pants are simply staight and loose fitted. Thank heavens they are not cuffed. As for his shoes, is it just me or does it look like Leon has small feet? I dunno why it makes me laugh, but its cute either way. Leon's shoes look very normal. Something that you can pick up at Eddie Brauer. The are dark grey and traditional laced up shoes. These kind of shoes look like they are great for hiking, tracking, running, etc. Very outdoorsie.
